Account-based, pseudonymous storage
Your data is stored server-side in a private account. You sign in with a private handle — your real name is never shown or stored. Your data is scoped to your account and is not linked to your identity beyond the email used to sign in.
What is stored
Drymora stores your screening responses, goal settings, support-window times, daily drink and dry-day logs, coping plans, companion conversation history and memory, and—when you use the live Lounge—your recent room presence/position, public Lounge messages, reports, and blocks. Lounge messages are visible to people in that public room; the pilot has no direct messages, image/file uploads, or link sharing. None of this is sold, shared for advertising, or used for commercial profiling.
What is sent to Google Gemini
Drymora uses Google Gemini to power its AI features. Depending on which feature you use: on the grounded Ask (Q&A) path, your question plus the text of vetted source passages is sent; on the companion path, your message plus recent conversation history, a compact memory summary, any vetted source passages, and a short goal and screening-derived risk summary (your AUDIT zone, any withdrawal caution, and your weekly target if set) are sent to personalize replies; on the crisis-triage check, only your message is sent. The Gemini API key is server-side only and never exposed to your browser. An on-device, non-Gemini path for the most privacy-sensitive users is a roadmap option. Separately, account verification and password-reset emails are delivered through Resend, our email provider, which receives only your email address and name to send them.
No advertising or commercial profiling
Drymora does not carry alcohol-industry advertising and does not sell, share, or monetize your personal data for advertising or commercial profiling purposes.
Your control
You can download a full copy of your data at any time from your account settings, including your support-window preferences and Lounge data you authored or created. Deleting your account permanently removes all user-owned data — screening results, logs, plans, companion conversations and memory, Lounge presence/messages/reports/blocks, and group data — with no recovery. There is no partial delete; deletion is complete and immediate from active systems.
